Jojo Abellana was part of the iconic youth-oriented program That's Entertainment. He was a contender of It's Showtime's segment 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' Celebrity Edition 2019. He has also starred in movies such as Sa Harap ng Panganib (2007), Proboys(1995) and Everyday I Love You (2015).
